Abstrak

Microsoft Excel is one of the most widely used data processing software in office environments for administrative, financial, and reporting tasks. However, Excel has a limitation of a maximum of 1,048,576 rows per worksheet. In today’s digital era, where office workers are required to analyze large datasets such as sales transactions, customer activity logs, or operational reports, this limitation becomes a significant obstacle. This study aims to examine optimization methods for using Excel to process more than one million rows of data through features such as Power Query, Power Pivot, Data Model, and integration with external systems like SQL Server and Python. The results show that by applying these techniques, Excel can efficiently manage large-scale data without losing its flexibility. Case studies demonstrate an increase in work efficiency of up to 70% and an average reduction in analysis time of 40% compared to conventional methods.
